There is a jumps meeting at Catterick tomorrow but it looks trappy and I've not got a great record of punting round there so I have turned to Lingfield in pursuit of a mid week profit.

This is a pretty low level mile handicap at Lingfield here and it has an open look to it. I put up Specified for a mile handicap at Chelmsford 13 days ago and he finished 8th. Once again however, he had absolutely no luck in running and finished on the heels of horses. He's kept at this trip by connections which is a real positive and they have recruited Holly Doyle to do the steering. She has a lovely draw in stall 2 and Lingfield should suit her running style. If Holly can get a clear run then hopefully today will be the day for Specified.
