Galway - Monday 27th July

One of the best weeks of the year kicks off on Monday as we have both the Galway Festival and Glorious Goodwood (yes it is, not this Qatar Goodwood Festival rubbish). We kick things off in Ireland first and there's a proper big field staying handicap on the flat to contend with.

18:40, Connacht Hotel (Premier Handicap)

Eagle Fang 9/1, 1pt each-way (5 places)

This looks to be a little bit of a potential plot by connections of Eagle Fang. This is his first run in a handicap on the level, but he's rated 145 over hurdles and nearly won at the Grand National meeting 3 months ago. Stall 4 is handy and it's fair to say we haven't seen what the 6 year old gelding is truly capable off in his 2 recent runs in maidens as he's not been fully extended.
